Oakridge Group

Oakridge is both a conventional property development and investment company and a distinctly different one.
We relish producing innovative and profitable solutions to unconventional challenges grounded on strong core values.

In 2012 Neil Cordiner, Malcolm Cunningham and Rupert de Klee, the current directors and shareholders, came together with their very varied business disciplines to focus on property related opportunities in Eastern Scotland from Aberdeen to the Borders. Oakridge has since acquired a number of sites outright but is equally comfortable entering into partnerships with existing owners or other developers who wish to remain involved.

Oakridge projects to-date include:

  • Grade-A listed townhouse conversion (offices to residential) on Melville Street, Edinburgh.
  • Origination of Grade-A listed conversion of the Corn Exchange, Dalkeith, into modern offices for Melville Housing Association.
  • Conversion of the Woodside Hotel, Musselburgh, into two large townhouses.
  • Residential gap-fill site, Musselburgh, working with Slorach Wood Architects.
  • Re-working of self contained greenfield site for the provision of six new build homes north of West Linton.
  • Purchased Rochsoles Farm on the edge of Glenmavis, near Airdrie, to take advantage of planning consent to develop the site into 18 detached houses.
  • Development of 19 homes at a former farming site on the northern corner of Edgehead.
  • Progressing a contained brownfield site in Gorebridge, ready for the development of six new build homes.
  • Recently acquired the former hospital at Rosslynlee with a view to its restoration for residential use.

Oakridge has partnered with companies including Sundial Properties and Fjordhus. We have ongoing relationships with numerous architects, consultants and contractors. The business continues to seek opportunities that require a blend of innovation and private equity.
